Glo Premier League champions, Kano Pillars, have announced the appointment of Mohammed Baba Ganaru as their new coach.
Both parties agreed on the deal this week and concluded the negotiation on Wednesday in Kano.
Baba Ganaru, who left Pillars in November 2013 to join Nasarawa United, re-joined the club he led to the title two seasons ago.
The board of Kano Pillars chaired by Kabiru Baita will expect the new coach to revive the club’s fading title hopes as they are nine points behind leaders Sunshine Stars.

Okey Emordi, the man who had succeeded Baba Ganaru at Pillars, was fired earlier this month following a string of poor results in the league and cup competitions.
Baba Ganaru’s first game in charge will be their home match against Lobi Stars at the Sani Abacha Stadium on Sunday.
