Amaju Pinnick, the president of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), has announced the country will play two friendlies against Cameroon and Congo in October.
The matches will take place in Belgium.
“I can confirm that we will play against Congo on October 8 in Antwerp and against Cameroon on October 11 in Brussels,” Pinnick said on a television interview programme on Monday.
Pinnick also said the federation is considering another friendly with a North African team before the Super Eagles’ 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Egypt in March.

Tunisia and Algeria were mooted as possible opponents for the game likely to hold in November.
Nigeria are second on four points behind Egypt with six points in Group G of the AFCON qualifiers.
Both sides will meet in a doubleheader at the end of March and the outcome of the games will likely determine the automatic qualifier for the 2017 AFCON in Gabon.
