The management of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has suspended the ongoing second-semester examinations for the 2019/2020 academic session.
Abdullahi Abdullahi, deputy registrar, information and publications of the university, announced the development in a statement on Sunday.
Abdullahi said the suspension followed the 24-hour curfew imposed on Jos North by the state government to quell unrest after the killing of 22 travellers in the LGA on Saturday.
He said the examinations slated for August 16 to August 21 have been suspended until further notice.
