In the CAF Confederation Cup, Aiteo Cup winners Awka United will play host to Hawks FC of Gambia in the first leg in Uyo.

Enyimba FC have been given a bye into the next round where they will face either the winner of the Benin Republic league or Haifa FC of Guinea.
The preliminary stages of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederations Cup will take place between February 9-11, 2018 and February 16-18, 2018.
