Plus TV Africa has announced its premiere on the Digital Satellite Television (DSTV).
In a statement on Friday, Kayode Akintemi, editor-in-chief of Plus TV Africa, said the television will be a platform for broadcasting news.
He said the station will render its service on DSTV channel 408 to customers on premium, compact plus, compact, confam and yanga packages.
He said Plus TV Africa is raising the bar in television news presentation and reportage on the continent, adding that it is “a credible source of information in business, politics, history, youth engagement, sports, entertainment and much more.”

“Plus TV Africa is delighted to join DStv, the best Broadcast Media platform in Africa, and one of the best in the world. We are geared to take the continent by storm as a broadcast News Television,” he said.
“Plus TV Africa is a team of broadcast professionals that are young, talented, creative, dynamic and passionate about Africa. The continent is in for an amazing new style of reporting, analysis and storytelling, focusing on “Big Stories” across sectors and spheres of endeavour!”
John Ugbe, chief executive officer, MultiChoice Nigeria, said DSTV is glad to have Plus TV Africa on its network, adding that it will provide deep insight into news across Africa.
