The police command in Enugu state has arrested one Chidubem Osuagwu, a 22-year-old suspect, over alleged murder.
In a statement on Friday, Daniel Ndukwe, police spokesperson in Enugu, said Osuagwu allegedly murdered one Amarachi Chukwu (32), his “sugar mummy” on November 1 at her residence in Awkunanaw, Enugu metropolis.
According to NAN, the police spokesperson said the suspect and his accomplices stole the victim’s car after killing her.
Ndukwe said police detectives in the homicide section of the criminal investigation department in collaboration with operatives in the state command arrested the suspect on November 8 in the Nekede area of Owerri while attempting to sell the car.
