The Delta state police command says it has arrested one Chinemem Adigwe for selling fake alcoholic drinks made with ethanol, water, and flavour.
In a statement on Sunday, Bright Edafe, Delta police spokesperson, warned the public to be mindful of the places they purchase drinks from.
“This suspect, Chinemem Adigwe, was arrested in Bomadi LGA,” the statement reads.
“He mixes ethanol, water, and flavor, then buys empty bottles of Gordon’s, Chelsea, and even mc dowel, puts his fake drinks inside, and then sells them to consumers as if it’s the real drinks he is selling.
