The police command in Kaduna state says it has arrested a 35-year-old man suspected of being a kidnapper.

In a statement on Friday, Mansir Hassan, spokesperson of the police in Kaduna, said arms and ammunition were recovered after a raid on the suspect’s residence located in Ganga Uku village, Mararaban Jos.

Hassan said the arms recovered from the unnamed suspect were a fabricated cartridge revolver rifle, a fabricated pistol, two Dane guns, six live cartridges, one discharge GPRG ammunition, seven discharge cartridges, and a blood-stained cutlass.

The spokesperson said on February 13, the suspect conspired with some of his colleagues to abduct one Samaila Abdullahi at Keke Kingdom area of Mararaban Jos.
