The Lagos state police command says it has arrested three more suspects in connection with the abduction of three school girls in Ikorodu area of the state.
Oladapo Badmos, the command’s spokesperson, made the disclosure in a statement released on Wednesday in Lagos.
He said the suspects were apprehended by the operatives of intelligence response team deployed by the inspector-general of police to the state following the incident.
Three SSS 2 students were kidnapped on February 29 at Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary School in Ikorodu.
The first three suspects were arrested on March 6 in connection with the incident.

The suspects, Badmos said, were aged 28, 26 and 32.
“They were all arrested between March 7 and March 10 in their various hideouts,” read the statement.
“They have confessed to be members of the gang that carried out the dastardly act. Meanwhile, they have been handed over to Lagos State Command for further investigation and prosecution.”
