The Kaduna police command says three suspects have been arrested for alleged automated teller machine (ATM) card swap fraud.
In a statement on Friday, Mansir Hassan, the police spokesperson in Kaduna, said the suspects were arrested on August 27 with 54 ATM cards and a point-of-sale (POS) machine.
The police spokesperson said the suspects are Umar Ya’u of Zoo road Kano, Abdullahi Bukar of Tudun Wada Kaduna, and Hussaini Sulaiman.
He added that the suspects are notorious for loitering around ATMs, pretending to assist those unfamiliar with the machines.
