The police command in Taraba says suspected gunmen have killed two people in Bali LGA of the state.
Gambo Kwache, the police spokesperson in Taraba, confirmed the incident to TheCable on Monday.
Kwache said the killers have yet to be identified.
But a Punch report said some herdsmen were suspected to be behind the incident at the Maihula community on Sunday.

The report quoted a resident as saying that trouble started when a man who was drunk and high on drugs he took at Maihula market was found dead on his way home.
The report added that relatives of the deceased, who later recovered his body, accused the Tiv villagers where the man died of being responsible for their brother’s death.
The relatives then reportedly carried out a reprisal attack, killing at least six people and injuring scores.
