POLL: Should FG enter into ceasefire with Boko Haram?

How does the idea of a ceasefire between the federal government and Boko Haram insurgent group sound to you — a step in the right direction or one that would worsen things in the end?

Last week, the federal government said it has been in “wider cessation-of-hostility” talks with the insurgents for some time now.

Lai Mohammed, minister of information and culture, said the ceasefire talks secured the release of the 113 students and pupils kidnapped from Dapchi in Yobe state.

But some say having a ceasefire agreement with insurgents may boomerang at a later stage, especially if things did not go as planned.
