The Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNI) says it has donated N10,000 each to 58 victims of the Rann accidental bombing currently receiving treatment in Maiduguri, the Borno state capital.
PCNI said on Saturday that the hand-out is not a compensation for their loss or injuries.
This is coming days after TheCable’s Tears From Rann series, an investigation into the lives of the victims of the military misfire which revealed that PCNI had not given a kobo for the treatment of the victims.
