Chidi Lloyd, a former leader of the Rivers state house of assembly, says the only problem he has on earth is politics.
Speaking to NAN on the destruction of his building in Akpabu, Emohua local government area of Rivers, Lloyd said he learnt that some unknown gunmen were behind the attack.
He wondered why people would contrive to carry out arson against him.
“From the information I gathered, unknown gunmen, numbering about 20 in military uniform, came on motor bikes and went straight to my house in the village and set it ablaze,” he said.

“It is a new building that I just finished. Everything inside the house was burnt down, but no life was lost.”
“I do not think that I have any previous problem with anybody. The only problem I have on earth is politics.”
The Rivers police command confirmed the attack, but said details were still sketchy.

Nnamdi Omoni, spokesman of the command, told journalists in Port Harcourt on Friday that the police had received information on the attack.
