The Police Service Commission (PSC) has appointed Miller Dantawaye and Betty Otimenyin as the new commissioners of police for Kogi state and Edo state, respectively.
A statement on Thursday by Ikechukwu Ani, PSC’s head of press and public relations, said the new commissioners would take over from the current ones in the two states, who are set to retire this month.
He said Chukwuka Onuoha, the current police commissioner for Kogi state, will retire on January 22 while Peter Umoru, the Edo CP, will step down on January 25.
Dantawaye was in charge of information technology at the Force Headquarters in Abuja, while Otimenyin served as deputy commissioner in charge of administration in Anambra state.
