The Bauchi State Association of the Deaf (BSAD) has partnered with Women Farming Association of Nigeria (WOFAN) on “improved agricultural techniques” for the auditory impaired.
The partnership intends to make farming more accessible and affordable to persons living with the condition across the state.
WOFAN, a non-governmental organisation, said it is committed to providing soft loans, agricultural tools and other benefits that will make farming inclusive.
The NGO also appointed six members of BSAD to its executive council.
