Aruna Quadri is the only Nigerian listed among 24 foreign players that will participate in the maiden edition of the Ultimate Table Tennis League in Chennai, India.
Quadri, in spite of his second round exit at the just concluded ITTF World Championships in Düsseldorf, Germany, rose two spots up from 37 to 35 in the latest ITTF ranking released on Thursday.
The tournament which starts on Thursday, July 13, is the first ever professional table tennis league to be held in India.
