RCCG to host one million youths for 2024 young ministers’ retreat

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) says the 2024 edition of the young ministers’ retreat (YMR) will be held between December 26 and 30.

In a statement on Wednesday, the church said the retreat, themed “Floodgates,” will take place at Redemption City, Ogun state.

The statement said the interdenominational event is expected to attract over one million participants from across the globe.

The retreat is the brainchild of Daniel Olawande, the RCCG youth evangelists coordinator and lead pastor at The Envoys in Lagos.

The church noted that the YMR began in 2017 and has “transformed the lives of millions through fasting, prayer, worship, and transformative teachings”.

“The retreat promises a life-changing spiritual experience,” the statement reads.

“Floodgates is more than a theme—it’s a prophetic declaration of an unparalleled outpouring of blessings, revival, and breakthroughs.

“YMR 2024 provides a unique platform for young believers to ignite their passion for God, gain spiritual clarity, and walk into the new year empowered.

“The event will feature powerful teachings from anointed speakers, including Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of RCCG, who will deliver a generational blessing.

“Spirit-filled worship sessions will be led by renowned ministers such as Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Tee Worship, BBO, Naomi David, and Precious Worship.

“Participants will engage in 72 hours of intense prayer, fasting, and fellowship designed to prepare end-time soldiers for God’s Kingdom agenda.
