We’re ready to take on the world, says Flying Eagles captain

Flying Eagles captain, Musa Muhammed, can’t wait to “take on the world” when the FIFA U-20 World Cup begins on May 30th in New Zealand.

The African champions are currently in Germany perfecting their strategies ahead of the championship. The team has played two tune-up games which they won impressively scoring 10 goals and conceding two.

They will meet Freiburg U-23 in their final warm-up match on May 19.

But Muhammed already has his mind on the World Cup.

“We are ready to take on the world,” he told SL10.ng.

“The friendly matches we have played have really helped us. Starting with the Super 6, and the games we have played here and I will say we now have a compact side.

“This is not about being boastful, but I believe we are ready to take on the world because we have had such a good preparation for the competition and we are ready to go.”
