Real Madrid pip Barcelona to La Liga title

Real Madrid defeated Malaga 2-0 to emerge champions of the Spanish La Liga.

Zinedine Zidane, a Galactico in charge of the Galacticos, took the title back to the Spanish capital after five years.

Although Barcelona defeated Eibar 4-2 at Nou Camp, Real held their composure to register one last win for a hard-fought title.

As early as the second minute, Cristiano Ronaldo made a clear statement of intent by grabbing the first goal for Madrid.
