Muhammad Musa, chairman of the tenders board committee for projects in Jigawa, says the state government has budgeted N300 million for the construction of 30 mosques.
In a statement on Monday, Musa said more than 135 construction companies have submitted bids for the construction of the mosques.
The chairman of the tenders board said due process would be followed in awarding the contracts and the technical evaluation committee for the bidding would be fair.
On his part, Musbahu Ahmad, representative of Sadiya and Aisha Nigeria Limited, on behalf of the bidders, expressed satisfaction with the bidding process for the mosque construction.

He assured the government that quality would be done if given the job.
