Some Nigerians on social media are still celebrating the disbandment of the special anti-robbery squad (SARS).
Protesters across the country spent sleepless nights, demanding an end to the brutality of some SARS operatives.
The protest also caught the attention of people outside the shores of Nigeria.
On Sunday afternoon, Mohammed Adamu, the inspector-general of police, disbanded SARS.
