Relegated ABS appoint Sanni as new technical adviser

Tunde Sanni, former Kwara United head coach, has been appointed as the technical adviser of ABS FC.

Sanni’s appointment was confirmed by Seni Saraki, chairman of ABS.

ABS was relegated from the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) last season.

In a statement made available to TheCable, Alloy Chukwuemeka, the team’s director of football, confirmed the development on Tuesday.

Sanni is expected to take charge of ABS in March as hostilities in the Nigeria National League (NNL) resumes.

He said the appointment of Sanni became necessary after the contract of Henry Makinwa expired.

Chukwuemeka explained that Sanni’s wealth of experience earned him the job and called on the club’s supporters to give him the needed support.

Sanni has worked with the likes of Festus Onigbinde, late Kafaru Alabi and Ahmadu Shuaibu, Joe Erico, Clemence Westerhof, and Fatai Amoo.

The newly appointed technical adviser holds a CAF ‘B’ coaching license.

Chukwuemeka said details of his contract will be made available during his unveiling ceremony.
