Uba Sani, governor of Kaduna, has commended the military for their operations in restoring peace in the state.
The governor, represented by James Kanyip, commissioner of internal security and home affairs in Kaduna, spoke at the 2024 Base Socio-Cultural activities.
Sani asked security agencies to remain vigilant and sustain their efforts against criminal elements, commending their collaborative efforts in the state.
He also commended Nigerian airforce personnel for successful military operations and fostering strong civilian-military relations in the north-west geopolitical zone.

The governor highlighted the importance of cultural diversity in promoting national unity and praised the Airforce’s role in fostering unity through celebrations.
”The Base Socio-Cultural activities is a platform for fostering comradeship amongst personnel and celebrating our diversity as the cultural performances showcased Nigeria’s rich heritage,” he said.
Present at the event were Abubakar Abdullahi, air officer commanding air training command, Mayirenso Saraso, general officer commanding 1st mechanized division, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli, Emir of Zazzau, and other distinguished personalities.
