A federal high court sitting in Osogbo, Osun state, has granted an order compelling the national assembly to begin impeachment process against President Muhammadu Buhari, according to PUNCH.

Maureen Onyetenu, the judge, was reported to have given the ex parte order on Wednesday following a motion filed  by Kanmi Ajibola, chairman, Nigeria Bar Association (NBA), Ilesa branch; and Suleiman Adeniyi, a human rights activist.

Alleging that Buhari breached the constitution, they had written to the national assembly to begin impeachment process against the president.
