The house of representatives on Tuesday passed 13 bills within 20 minutes.
The bills were passed after they were read a third time.
They are: “A bill for an act to amend the national judicial institute act; a bill for an act to amend the prevention of crimes act; a bill to amend the water resources act; a bill to amend the endangered aspecies act; a bill for an act to amend the agricultural and rural management training institute ct; a bill for an act to amend the telecommunications and postal offences act, and a bill for an act to amend the treaty to establish the African Economic Community relating to the Pan-African parliament Act.
Others are: “A bill for an act to amend the utilities charges commission act; a bill for an act to amend the chartered institute of stockbrokers act; a bill for an act to amend the Petroleum Training institute act; a bill for an act to amend the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency act; a bill for an act to amend the quantity surveyors act, and a bill for an act to amend the bees (import, control and management) act.”

The passing of bills is reminiscent of a similar “episode” in December in 2015 when the house passed 130 bills within 30 minutes.
