Rescheduled Ondo APC guber primary records low voter turnout

The rescheduled All Progressives Congress (APC) gubernatorial primary election in Okitipupa LGA of Ondo state on Sunday recorded a low turnout of voters in some wards.

On Saturday, Usman Ododo, governor of Kogi and the chairman of the committee overseeing the primary poll in the state, announced that voting had been rescheduled in all 13 wards of Okitipupa LGA.

He said the election was not held in the LGA due to the late arrival of materials.

NAN reports that some wards visited in the LGA on Sunday had a low voter turnout while security agents were on the ground.
