REVEALED: West Ham goalkeeper makes Nigeria’s 21-man list for U-17 World Cup

English Premier League goalkeepers from West Ham United and Bournemouth Football Club will be keeping the shots as Manu Garba lists his 21-man final list for the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, TheCable can report.

The goalkeepers are Jinadu Daniel (picture) and Oluwabusola Joseph.

The Eaglets, who made a return to the biennial international men’s youth football championship, will be led by Samson Tijani as captain.

Nigeria did not go on to the last edition of the championship staged in India two years ago.

Akinwunmi Amoo, the mercurial left-footed attacking midfielder, will be joined by Wisdom Ubani, Jabeer Ibraheem, Olusegun Olakunle on the attacking front for the Eaglets.

Stephen Sunday, the number one goalkeeper for Garba, will have Etim Charles, Ikenna Ferdinand, Ibrahim Usman, Edun Quadri to support him in the defence.

The 18th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup will kick off on October 26 to November 17 in Brazil.

The five-time world champions who are in group B, will have their first and second fixture against Hungary and Ecuador at Estadio Olimpico on October 26 and 29 respectively.

Garba’s boys will take on Australia in their final group B match at the Estadio Bezerrao in Brasilia on November 1.
