Self-acclaimed musical Taliban, Oritsefemi Ekele Majemite (simply known as Oritsefemi), is set to release his new album titled Money Stops Nonsense (MSN) in a few weeks’ time on Friday May 1.
This will be the Afro beat singer’s fifth album, but it will essentially be his first release since he became famous for his runaway hit track, Double Wahala, a remake of Fela Kuti’s original song of the same title, which will be part of MSN album.
The album was originally set for release in November 2014, then it was shifted to December. It was again delayed, following a robbery attack on Oritsefemi and his manager as they returned from an event in Lagos in early December.

Efforts to escape the robbers as they were being chased by a Toyota Camry led to a ghastly accident. Oritsefemi’s manager, Dankun, was badly injured and had to be rushed to the hospital while Oritsefemi’s new 2014 Range Rover Evoque, which was presented to him by his record label a week before, was extensively damaged.
A source confirmed to TheCable that Dankun has fully recovered from the injuries and has now resumed his management duties.
The album is packed with 24 tracks and top musical collaborations with the likes of MI, Davido, Timaya, D Banj, Ice Prince, Cynthia Morgan Chata Wale, Oluwaseun and lots of Nigerian music stars.

There are also plans for album release parties in different locations across Nigeria at a later date.
