Ronald Koeman has been sacked by Everton FC following a poor run of form which culminated in the home thrashing by Arsenal on Sunday.
The Dutch manager is the third coach to be sacked in the English Premier League club in the 2017/18 season after Frank Boer and Craig Shakespeare.
The 5-2 defeat left the Toffees 18th in the Premier League with their Europa League campaign already also stuttering.
In spite of Koeman’s £150million summer spending, he has struggled to get the best out of his players.

Everton has only won two of their last ten games and are in the bottom three after the humiliating defeat.
“Everton Football Club can confirm that Ronald Koeman has left the Club,” the club said on Monday.
“Chairman Bill Kenwright, the Board of Directors and Major Shareholder Farhad Moshiri would all like to express their gratitude to Ronald for the service he has given to the Club over the past 16 months and for guiding the Club to seventh place in last season’s Premier League campaign.”
