Massimiliano Allegri, Juventus manager, says Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to play for the Italian Serie A giants again.
The Juventus manager, who recently rejoined the club after a two-year sabbatical, spoke on Friday during his weekly press conference.
Ronaldo has been linked with a move to Manchester City in the last 24 hours and Juventus are willing to allow the Portuguese legend to leave if the price is right.
However, the latest twist in the transfer saga comes on the eve of the Turin-based club’s Sere A encounter against Empoli on Saturday.

“Yesterday, Cristiano told me that he no longer has any intention to play for Juventus. For this reason he will not be called up for tomorrow’s game,” the 54-year-old former AC Milan manager added.
“Things change, it’s a law of life. Juventus remains, which is the most important thing.
“He is to be thanked for what he has done, also as an example amongst the youngsters. But as I said, we must go on.

“[Ronaldo] gave his contribution, he made himself available, now he leaves and life goes on.”
Ronaldo started last week’s game against Udinese from the bench and came on to score a last-minute match winner that was ruled out by VAR.
The Portuguese football star joined Juventus from Real Madrid in a deal worth £99 million in 2018. He has won a league title and became the fastest player to score 100 goals for the club.
