Matthew Stephens, Nigerian rapper popularly known as Ruggedman, has blamed the media for shunning Nomoreloss when he was alive.
The 40-year-old said this at the service of songs organised for Olumuyiwa Osinuga, popularly known as Nomoreloss.
“I thank all the Tv people and cameras I see here right now. Nomoreloss was a super talented musician. On a serious note, when we dey hustle, I no see this many cameras but I thank you for today,” he said.
“When it was just Nomoreloss and me doing our thing, we didn’t see cameras. Hopefully, all artistes out there struggling and doing their thing if they see half of this number, we go hail una.”

The Abia-born rapper narrated how he met the late singer in a toilet at a bar and how their friendship started.
He also urged people to take care of themselves no matter the situation.
“Whoever you are, whatever you are going through, if you cannot tell anyone, tell the people close to you. We are only sure of this life; we have to be realistic.

“One person might not be able to solve your problem but talk to the right people; things can be done. Please take care of yourself, no matter what you are going through, please take care of yourself.
“I’m tired of singing tribute songs and I’m tired of attending wakes.”
Stephens featured the Ololufe crooner in his track Ehen and described him as “a great friend and musician”.
