“Sometimes the hardest part of the journey is believing you’re worthy of the trip.”
― Glenn Beck
What is this thing called life anyway if not a bottle of diet coke that is bland, has no sugar and professes to be healthier?
We are often told how to live our lives by everything we come in contact with. We see it in the pages of magazines where photo shopped images are plastered all over and women are told that they can only be beautiful when their bodies are as slim as canes or these days, curvy so the twerking can #makesense Their hair has a healthy glow that can only be achieved through the powerful algorithms that make apps work. Slay! They say.

We see a society that encourages young men to portray lavish lifestyles, sporting bales of currency generously doled out publicly, parading themselves to be better than others, they have made themselves slaves to the superficial lives they project.
The next person who is not able to ‘show’ himself seems to be the inferior one.
He who has and shows not that he has ;He who does not have and shows as if he had.

Do not be mistaken. None is superior to the other.
Who determines what the standards are?
When we look at our lives and things don’t seem to be working,we begin to measure ourselves by the yardsticks of society and berate ourselves when we fall short of banal standards.
We slip into the ‘what ifs, and if onlys.’ and wonder to ourselves, what is the point to life?

This is the point to life; it is mostly a journey, and finally a destination and while our journeys might be intertwined, they are ultimately personal.
You are on your own journey, and you are running your own race. You have to believe you’re worthy of your trip and who you are whether ‘they’ believe it or not. This is Self-worth. When you’re confident in yourself and your abilities, you become unstoppable.
Acceptance is the bedrock of invincibility
Accept yourself, Stay on your lane, Run your race.
