Sahara Group partners Financial Times for Nigeria summit

Sahara Group, an African energy conglomerate, has partnered with Financial Times, world’s leading business publication, for the maiden edition of the FT Nigeria Summit taking place on May 31 in Lagos.

The summit which has the theme, “Dispelling uncertainty and building resilience,” is aimed at “exploring Nigeria’s huge investment potential” which is especially challenging as the country is said to have a “recovering but vulnerable economy.”

A statement released on Sunday by Bethel Obioma, head, corporate communications, Sahara Group, said that the partnership with Financial Times is timely as it will open up discussions on key investment opportunities in the country.

“It is great to be working with a venerable media institution like the Financial Times on this summit, especially at a time when Nigeria needs to re-examine and re-purpose our complex investment climate for the next critical economic growth and recovery plan,” the statement read.
