The Nigerian army has announced the arrest of Mohammed Zauro, said to be a high profile Boko Haram member.

Sani Usman, spokesman of the army, disclosed this in a statement, saying Zauro was about fleeing Sambisa forest when he was arrested.

Usman said troops of Operation Lafia Dole with assistance of vigilantes on routine checks at Sabon Gari in Damboa local government area of Borno, identified and arrested the suspect.
