Omolori emerges national assembly clerk

The National Assembly Service Commission (NASC) has confirmed the appointment of Sani Omolori as clerk of the assembly.

Prior to the appointment, Omolori was the clerk of the house of representatives, and acting clerk of the national assembly.

Adamu Fika, executive chairman of the commission, confirmed Omolori’s appointment in a letter.

The letter said the appointment was in recognition of his “hard work, dedication to duty, responsible conduct and loyalty to the leadership of the national assembly”.

“I have the pleasure to inform you that the National Assembly Service Commission has at its 443rd Meeting approved the confirmation of your appointment as clerk to the national nssembly,” the letter read.

“This appointment takes effect from 15th August, 2016.”

Fika urged Omolori to continue to demonstrate positive attributes to justify the confidence reposed in him by the commission and the leadership of the national assembly.

The letter was to copied to the Bukola Saraki, senate president, Yakubu Dogara, speaker of the house of representatives and other principal officers of the national assembly.
