John Moore, one of the most famous Santa Claus characters, has died at the age of 86.
Moore inspired Coca Cola’s Father Christmas and appeared in several ads, making Christmas fun every year for many families with his role in the festive adverts.
He also appeared as Father Christmas at various locations near his home in Burgess Hill, West Sussex, England, and at numerous charity events.
When he was not acting as Santa Claus, he worked as a taxi driver and bar man.
