Marketing Edge, a brand and marketing publication, says its annual 2022 national marketing stakeholders’ summit and brands and advertising awards of excellence will hold on September 16.
According to a statement by the company, the two-in-one event, which would also mark its 10th anniversary, is scheduled to be held at the Harbor Point Hall in Victoria Island, Lagos.
It said the hybrid event would feature a summit in the morning with the theme “Technological Explosion in the Digital Age: Imperative for the Marketing Communications Industry”, while the award night would commence at 5 pm on the same day.
According to the statement, dignitaries lined up for this year’s event include Babajide Sanwo-Olu, governor of Lagos state, as a special guest of honour and keynote speaker; Dapo Abiodun, governor of Ogun state, as a special guest of honour; John Kayode Fayemi, governor of Ekiti state and Udeme Ufot, an advertising practitioner and former president of Association of Advertising Practitioner of Nigeria (AAPN).

It added that the summit would be led by various guest speakers, including Tolulope Adedeji, marketing director, West Africa, ABInbev; Emeka Chris Okeke, group chief executive director (CEO), MediaFuse Dentsu International and director of Dentsu Ghana.
Others include Ozone Mbanefo, CEO, @02 Academy; Bamigbaiye Omotola, marketing director, Pladis Global (McVitie’s); Tunji Adeyinka, managing director (MD), Connect Marketing Services; Ralph Idu, CEO, Poke Media; Vytautas Paukstys, CEO, Eskimi; Daniel Gyefour, regional head of marketing Africa, PZ Cussons, amongst others.
