Senator Bukola Saraki has disowned campaign posters dotting the streets of Abuja and indicating his interest to join the 2015 presidential race.
According to his personal assistant, Mr Bankole Omisore, an online report linking him with the race is also untrue.
Saraki, who described the story as ‘”totally false,” described those behind the posters as “mischief makers” who are only out to tarnish his reputation.
”We are all aware of the present political situation in Nigeria, but we are equally not surprised that these enemies of our nation have chosen this solemn time again to distract the country. This is not the time for politicking,” he told NAN.
