Saraki lauds Adeboye at 75, says Nigeria benefits from his prayers

Senate President, Bukola Saraki, has described Enoch Adeboye, general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Worldwide, as a leader worthy of emulation.

In a statement released to celebrate Adeboye at 75, the senate president said the mathematician and scientist is a positive example to his followers and non-followers.

Speaking through his spokesperson, Yusuph Olaniyonu, the senate president said Adeboye’s impact in Nigeria and the world is immeasurable.

“Papa Adeboye’s exemplary humility, passion for soul winning, ministering the word of God and prayers continue to be of immense benefit to Nigerians in particular and the world in general,” he said.

“He has continued to demonstrate through the force of personal example that it pays to serve God in truth and contentment.

“It is my prayer that Almighty God will continue to preserve his life, grant him strength, many more years and excellent health to continue in his invaluable works and contribution to nation building and growth of the kingdom of God.

Saraki also urged Adeboye and other religious leaders in the country to continue praying for Nigeria to overcome the present security, economic and social challenges.
