Second millionaire emerges in Polaris Bank’s ‘Save & Win’ promo

Polaris Bank has announced the second set of winners in its ongoing nationwide Save & Win millionaire promo.

Ikechukwu Bartholomew Obiefuna, a customer with the bank’s Okeke street branch, Awka in Anambra state, was the millionaire in its second draw of the promo.

A total of 60 customers across the six geo-political zones in Nigeria were also given N100,000 each as a consolation cash prize.

The draw held at Polaris Bank headquarters in Lagos on Tuesday.

Lucky Okunzuwa, a customer with the bank’s Akpakpava branch in Benin City in Edo state, was the first millionaire of the promo in the draw that held on February 9, 2021.

Polaris Bank said the winners emerged through a transparent draw witnessed by officials of the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC); National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC) and representatives of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON).

Peace Ibadin and Susie Onwuka, officials of NLRC and FCCPC respectively, commended Polaris Bank for making the draw process very transparent as it would go a long way in fostering brand affinity and continuing loyalty amongst customers.

Abdullahi Muhammed, Polaris Bank executive director for Abuja and the northern region, said the event was significant because it was a testament to the bank’s unwavering commitment to enrich the lives of Nigerians adding that the pay-out was aimed at encouraging more people to save and invest their money.

The bank said April will be the grand-finale leading to the emergence of 60 more winners of N100,000 consolation cash prize each and six more winners of N1 million each across the six geo-political zones to make a total of 188 winners in the entire draw.

The ‘Save & Win’ promo was launched in November 2020 with N26 million available to be won during the three draws slated to select winners in February, March, and April.
