The aim of this initiative was to enroll 100 underprivileged children in school and provide them with uniforms. backpacks and essential school materials, paving the way for a brighter future for these young minds.
The school enrolment CSR initiative, held on September 14, 2023, was a resounding success, bringing smiles and hope to numerous children and their families. SROL, a subsidiary of THOR Explorations Limited and a prominent name in the mining sector known for its commitment to sustainable development, joined forces with The Destiny Trust Foundation, an organization passionate about improving the lives of disadvantaged children, to make a significant impact on the local community.
The initiative took place at Lagos State Model Nursery/Primary School, Lekki, where children from economically disadvantaged backgrounds received brand new backpacks loaded with essential school supplies.
