Segun Osoba to chair Nigerian media leaders’ summit on May 6

The Journalism Clinic (TJC) says the second edition of the Nigerian media leaders’ summit will hold from May 6-7. 

The programme will hold at the Academy Suites in Abeokuta, Ogun state.

The summit will have about 60 senior executives from across the Nigerian media space in attendance.

In a statement on Thursday, Taiwo Obe, founder and director of TJC, said Olusegun Osoba, veteran journalist and former governor of Ogun, will be the chairman of the event.

Obe said the opening remark will be delivered by Kabir Yusuf, president of the Newspaper Proprietors’ Association of Nigeria (NPAN).

“With huge support and partnerships from, among others, the Lagos state government, Nigeria LNG Limited, Central Bank of Nigeria, Punch Nigeria Limited, The Cable Newspapers and UAC Foods, we are able to hold the summit with the theme ‘In pursuit of products, profits and more’,” he said.

He added that 10 other dignitaries billed to present at the summit include Juan Senior, president of innovation media consulting group; and Dolapo “Dolly” Otegbayi, until recently the route-to-marketing director of FrieslandCampina and now principal consultant.

Also presenting are Dolapo Otegbayi, Joshua Olufemi, Rasheed Adebiyi, Damilola Ajiboye, and Ore Afolayan.

Others are Omotayo Inakoju, Esosa Osagiede, Atunyota “AliBaba” Akpobome, and Waheed Olagunju.

The TJC director added that the summit will be “mind-blowing and far-reaching”.
