The senate on Tuesday kicked against a proposal to invite Lawan Daura, director-general of the Department of State Services (DSS), over the raids of some judges’ homes at the weekend.
The homes of some judges was raided by the DSS on allegations of corruption.
The proposal to invite the DSS director-general emanated from a motion of matters of urgent public importance sponsored by Joshua Lidani, senator representing Gombe south.
While describing the arrest of the judges as “unlawful”, he maintained that the fight against corruption must be done according to the law.

Why wont they reject, as the fear of DSS is the beginning of wisdom. Most of them have skeleton in their cupboard and are afraid of been haunted
