Transactions on the trading floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) Friday ended with Seplat adding to its share price after days of losing.
This comes with the visit of the President and Chairman, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria, Dr Segun Aina, and members of council to the trading floor.
Figures from the floor show that Market Capitalisation, which opened at N12, 831 trillion, closed at N 12,853 trillion adding N22 billion.
The All-Share Index also added 64.64 basis points that is 0.17 percent to close at 39,022 against 38,957.47 achieved on Thursday.

Seplat topped the gainers’ chart adding N4.99 to close at N640.00 per share.
Nestle came second with N4.76 to close at N1,075.01, while Guinness gained N3.00 to close at N180.00 per share.
Meanwhile, Mobil topped the losers’ chart losing N1.74 to close at N119.06 per share.

It was followed by Zenith Bank which lost N0.55 to close at N22.95, while Uacn lost N0.50 to close at N56.00 per share.
In all, investors traded 443,222,792 shares worth N3,762,513,159.00 transacted in 4,571 deals against the 291,575,609 shares valued at N4, 429,717,409.12 billion traded in 5,015 deals on Thursday.
Fcmb was the most traded equity trading 101,425,794 shares worth N434,962,903.15.
