Manchester City, winners of the 2022/23 UEFA Champions League (UCL), have dominated the competition’s annual team of the season.
Seven City stars are listed in the 11-man squad made public on Sunday.
Real Madrid and Inter Milan, both defeated by Manchester City in the semi-final and final respectively, contributed two players each.
The list has the likes of Erling Haaland, the highest goalscorer of the competition, leading the pack for the champions.

The Etihad-sponsored club controls the midfield through Kevin de Bruyne, John Stones and Rodri, scorer of the winning goal in the final.
Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker and Ruben Dias complete the roster from Pep Guardiola’s side.
Others who made the cut include the Real Madrid duo of Vinicius Jr. and Thibaut Courtois, while Alessandro Bastoni and Federico Dimarco of Inter complete the team.
