Seyi Law, Adekunle Gold to perform at Lagos awards

Seyi Law, Adekunle Gold and many other Nigerian acts are billed to perform at the maiden edition of African Entertainment Legend Awards (AELA).

AELA is an annual celebration of the most distinguished African acts in music, film production, cinemas, brands, personalities, broadcasting, comedy, fashion, media, modeling and magazines.

According to the organisers, the event, which is designed to recognise and celebrate personalities and entertainers who stand out distinctively, will hold at the Bespoke Centre in Lekki, Lagos, on November 29.

AELA is also geared towards projecting excellence and providing support for young emerging and creative talents in Africa and Diaspora.

The award with 41 different categories, would be run alongside the African Fashion Expression, which is put together to exhibit the creative beauty of Africa.

Denrele Edun, Wofaifada and Elvina Ibru wil anchor the programme, while Jesse Jagz, Samklef, Minjin, Toby Grey, May Owen, Emeka Smith, Akpororo, Ushbebe, Princewill, Whalemouth and Ajebo, are among the entertainers who will spice up the ceremony.

The event is expected to throw up stars from 56 countries in Africa, including political office holders, prominent government personalities, and corporate organisations.

Tickets for the event are available at Tastee Fried Chicken outlets in Lagos, Ikeja City Mall, Silverbird Cinemas, Victoria Island, and various online ticketing websites.
