Tolulope Arotile, the first female combat helicopter pilot of the Nigerian Air Force, died in a road accident at NAF base in Kaduna on Tuesday.
She died as a result of head injuries sustained from the accident.
Arotile was decorated by Sadique Abubakar, chief of air staff, less than one year before she died.

Nigeria’s first ever female combat helicopter pilot in the history of Nigerian AirForce has died.
Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, died yesterday from head injuries sustained from a road traffic accident in Kaduna.
She was only 25 years old.
