Shehu Abdullahi, Super Eagles player, says Nigeria must defeat Libya to qualify for the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
He said although the Eagles will not underrate Libya, they will employ the same strategy used in beating Cameroon to qualify for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
“We have to beat them home and away and that’s it,” Shehu told TheCable.
“We did it when we met Cameroon in the World Cup qualifiers last year. And we as players we know what is at stake.

“We just have to do everything to make sure that we win the two games.
“The players know the importance of the game if we really want to be in the Nations Cup. Yes of course, we the players all know about how the game is like for Nigerians that they are looking forward to it.
“But we know that it’s not going to be easy. I believe all the players have this at the back of their minds including the new players. And we are ready for it.”
