Shehu Sani, senator representing Kaduna central, has warned Aliko Dangote, Africa’s richest man, against aligning with the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Sani said this in reaction to the appointment of Dangote into campaign council of the ruling party for the 2019 elections.
After Femi Adesina, presidential spokesman, disclosed the appointment of Dangote, alongside Femi Otedola, billionaire businessman, in a statement on Friday, the lawmaker took to Twitter to issue the warning.
“Dear Bro Aliko, don’t use broom to reinforce your silos; don’t use broom as your plasterboard; don’t use broom to mix your concrete; maintain the use of your machine concrete mixer,” he tweeted.

Sani, a critic of President Muhammadu Buhari administration, is known for speaking in parable.
The lawmaker resigned his membership of the ruling party in October amid the controversies that trailed the primaries conducted by the APC.
Two weeks after he left the APC for the Peoples Redemption Party( PRP), the lawmaker posted a cryptic message on his Twitter handle, warning Godswill Akpabio, former senate minority leader, to leave the ruling APC and return to his former party.
Akpabio defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the APC in August.

“Oh ye Godswill, leave Nineveh through the Tigris River before dawn and returneth to thy city Damascus,” Sani had tweeted.
In the same vein, Sani had also advised Ike Ekweremadu, deputy senate president, not to leave the PDP when there were rumours that Ekweremadu was planning to leave.
Sani had tweeted, “Bro Ike, stay where you are jeje. I just dey comot, if you no hear, you go see.”
